  4.     As a woman who spent five years in the Air Force, I was
  5. appalled by your item about the cartoons of women that decorate
  6. some American B-52 bombers (NATION, Dec. 5). The Air Force makes
  7. a concerted effort to educate service members about sexual
  8. discrimination and its negative impact. Yet it proudly displays a
  9. half-naked woman on a bomber! Why not paint half-nude men on these
  10. planes?

  16. suggest that every bimbo have the face of the pilot's mother.

  22. I resent their being decorated with insulting caricatures of the
  23. female gender.
